DATE: Monday 17th September 2018, 8pm  EVENT TITLE: Aye, Coyote!  LOCATION: London  ARTISTS: Tim Dalling

VENUE: Soho Theatre Upstairs, Dean Street, London W1D 3NE  AUDIENCE: Adults 18+ (may contain nudity)

 DESCRIPTION:  (Soho Storytelling Season no.27)
‘I’m the lush
the madman
maddest man there is
which is why they call me
maddest-man-there-is’

In this auto-bio-mythical jigsaw & sacred carnivalesque ritual of purification, Tim Dalling revisits minor mishaps and major catastrophes of childhood, fatherhood, a brother’s troubled life and an unfinished art project, to create a ceremony of ‘lustration’ that will clear the way for future joy. To guide him through this ordeal is Trickster Coyote, the master of thoughtless self-destruction and crazy rebirth. Ghosts are healed with songs, laughter and stories and the Dance of Joy means everyone will be shaken all over.

TIM DALLING :: Years of training as a piano accordionist, actor, singer, songwriter, musical buffoon and now anarchic dancer may be just enough to save Tim from certain death in this risky endeavour. Tim has worked as composer, performer and musician with many companies including Northern Stage, Kneehigh Theatre, Live Theatre, Northumberland Theatre Company and has toured for many years nationally and internationally in comedy-folk trio The New Rope String Band.
