Iain Tuckett & The Coin Street Community Builders are the people who offered us use of the Bargehouse building for free in the first place. Without them, and this offer, this festival would never have been conceived and, quite simply, wouldn’t be happening. We thank them for their immense generosity.
The Crick Crack Club would particularly like to thank Cat Gerrard of Tailspin, Emily Parrish of Scandalmongers, Jennifer Pearcy-Edwards of Infectious Theatre who (come rain or shine) have kept the project going from the outset, and Nell Phoenix of Torriano Storynight; Lux Chell & Nikki Shaill of Art Macabre and their sponsor Cass Art, Anne Pawlack, Ben Mars, Kat Quatermass, Joshua Wiskey; Sooz Belnavis, Mark Maxwell, Filipe Gomes (the list just keeps growing!)….for making everything else possible.
Clipper Teas (they don’t just make tea you know) have supported us with a generous supply of hot chocolate!
And let’s be honest, if you’re planning an eventĀ in a Victorian warehouse in December, hot chocolate support is really what matters. A bit of good-humoured blind tasting at one of the Crick Crack Club’s courses last year resulted in Clipper hot chocolate being crowned the storytellers favourite…and this has really sealed the deal!
The Norwegian Embassy have very generously sponsored the Norwegian Spruce trees which
will become our Norwegian fairytale forest. And you might be wondering quite what we’ll be doing with so many Christmas trees after the festival – so come along and you might just find out how (with a little effort on your behalf) you can have the chance to win a tree for your very own Christmas celebrations…
Sultan’s – the makers of the finest Turkish Delight (you know, the type that comes in those
octagonal boxes and leaks sugar dusting everywhere in a magical manner) have agreed to provide us with some of their fine product…which we’ll feed to you from time to time in a Narnia-like fashion…
